Thought Note for Android · Nuviro Labs

Your data stays on your phone

Thought Note stores your text, links, images, recordings and transcripts in Android’s private app storage so you can capture, review and share them. No Thought Note account is required. There is no cloud sync. App content is excluded from the app’s configured Android backup and device-transfer mechanisms.

Voice transcription runs on your phone. We do not upload your content, use it to train models, sell it, or collect advertising, analytics or crash-reporting data in this app version.

Permissions and sharing

Microphone permission is used for recording. Image access is limited to items you select or share; camera capture uses your installed camera app. Optional notifications provide reminders. You can revoke permissions in Android Settings.

Content goes to another app only when you choose to share it. That app may keep or upload its own copy under its privacy policy.

Retention and deletion

Saved notes expire after 48 weekday hours; Saturdays and Sundays pause the clock. Opening, editing or sharing does not extend expiry. Expired notes become unavailable, then local cleanup removes them; Android may delay cleanup. Unfinished drafts can remain until saved, discarded or app storage is cleared.

To delete all local app data, use Android Settings → Apps → Thought Note → Storage → Clear storage, or uninstall the app. Copies shared elsewhere must be deleted in the receiving app. We cannot recover your local notes.
